A Long Overdue Update

For those of you aware of the situation with my son:

David came home in October of '06. He is living with my parents and we are still embroiled in the same legal battle as before. He is not free, but he is at least here and with us after over three years. I can't even begin to tell you how wonderful the day was when we were able to walk out of the court with him with us, and be able to have us all together, to walk him away from the nightmare we've been entangled within for so long.

We had our first Thanksgiving together, and our first Christmas in years. He graduated high school at the age of 16, a full year early, and with an A average. He has gotten a job at a local store, and has seemingly adjusted very well to being back with us all. Right now our case is in appeal in a higher court, after going through a rigorous and time consuming, (waste of time) run here in our county. And once again we are waiting in hope for an answer, an answer we hope will free David for good, rightly and fully clear his name and declare the innocence we have been able to prove for the past 3 years, but have been met with opposition in every direction from a very corrupt judicial system.

In other news:

I am 23 weeks pregnant and due in May. I do not know the sex of the baby yet, though my doctor mentioned ordering my second sonogram within the next two weeks, before my next regular appointment on February 1st. So maybe I'll get a sneak peek.

I really haven't been online all that much, as you can see things have been hectic. I apologize for not having been around, for not having updated and been a virtual hermit. I hope all is well with everyone and that you're all doing good. Please drop me a line to tell me how you've been?
